Academic Information

Georgia College fraternal organizations strive to achieve academic excellence.  It is not uncommon to find chapters nationally achieving a higher fraternal community GPA than that of the entire campus undergraduate population. Most nationally affiliated organizations require their members to maintain a minimum of a 2.30 GPA to be considered a member in good standing, many will require higher.  Those not achieving their chapter's minimum standards will not be eligible to enjoy all of the privileges that come with membership in a fraternity or sorority.

Additionally, chapters have minimum standards to join.  Please visit the individual council pages to find out the minimum grade requirements to participate in the recruitment or intake processes.  Please note that individual chapters may require a higher cumulative GPA than that of the University or governing council.

Below you can access the community grade reports to see how Georgia College chapters stack up academically.
(Note: Number of student refers to the number of students who were calculated in the summary.  Those students who were considered early alumni, inactive, or studying abroad during the semester were not factored into GPAs.)
