Georgia College fraternities and sororities strive to achieve academic excellence. It is not uncommon to find chapters achieving a higher GPA than that of the entire campus undergraduate population.
Most nationally affiliated organizations require their members to maintain a minimum of a 2.30 GPA to be considered a member in good standing, many will require higher. Those not achieving their chapter's minimum standards will not be eligible to enjoy all of the privileges that come with membership in a fraternity or sorority.
Additionally, chapters have minimum standards to join. Please visit the individual council pages to find out the minimum grade requirements to participate in the recruitment or intake processes. Please note that individual chapters may require a higher cumulative GPA than that of the University or governing council.
