Welcome
Welcome to Georgia College Venture Out! We are dedicated to exposing the students of Georgia College to a variety of outdoor adventure activities, connecting students with and promoting stewardship of natural environments, building intra-personal relationships with students, and supporting diverse student communities through shared experiences in the out of doors.
Venture Out is ran completely by volunteer leaders that are excited to share their passion for the outdoors with other students. Programs include whitewater rafting, flat water and whitewater canoeing, coastal kayaking, rock climbing, backing, winter camping, and primitive skills. We are always on the lookout for new and fun activities for GC students to take part in. If you have a suggestion for a program send us an email (ventureout@gcsu.edu) and we may be able to make it happen.
